I initially like to meet with you, go over the circumstances for which you are Selling or Buying, find out your likes and dislikes and what your work schedules are so we can view homes or show your home at times convenient to you. I explain the real estate market and also suggest you speak with your banker or mortgage broker so we know if there will be any penalties on your mortgage if you sell, or whether you can port (carry) your mortgage over to another home. If Buying, it is important to know what price range you can comfortably afford so you do not look at homes that are out of that range and then be disappointed if you can’t obtain the funds needed.
